Improved Wait Times
Our newly improved custom wait times feature allows you to display specific wait times to guests for categories and sections.
How to get to the wait times page
- On the live orders page, select Manage wait times in the top right-hand corner.
- In the sidebar, select Orders > Wait Times
How to set a wait time on a category
- Find the category where you want to add a wait time.
- Select Set wait times
- Set the wait time you want to display to the guest under Set total wait time.
- If you don't want to set a specific wait time, select No estimate
- Set when you want the wait time to clear under Clear after
- If you don't want the wait time to clear, select Don't clear
- Select Confirm
How to set a wait time on a section
- Find the category that the section is in.
- Select Show sections to expand the category
- Select Set wait times next to the section
- Set the wait time you want to display to the guest under Set total wait time.
- If you don't want to set a specific wait time, select No estimate
- Set when you want the wait time to clear under Clear after
- If you don't want the wait time to clear, select Don't clear
- Select Confirm
How to set a section wait time that is different from the category
If you want the wait time of one of your sections to be different from the rest of the categories, do the following
- First, set the wait time on the category.
- Select Show sections
- Find the section you want to change and select Clear
- Select Set Wait times next to the section and set up the time for that section.
How to remove a wait time on a category
- Next to the category select Clear all
