Our group ordering feature allows you to order with your friends and receive an itemised bill at the end of your visit.
How does it work?
When you place your first order, you will be able to select Start a Group Order in the payment screen. You'll then be asked to choose a payment method, and then you'll be taken to a confirmation screen with a QR code for your guests to scan. When your guest has scanned the QR code, they will be able to select your group order as a payment method when they are paying.
How do I close my group order?
When you scan the venue's QR code, there will be an option called Manage my group order. From here, you can select Close my group order. If you forget to do this, we'll close your group order 3 hours after the last order.
How do I get a copy of my group order bill?
We will send you an email when your group order is closed. You can close your group order in Manage my group order, or your group order will be closed automatically after 3 hours of no orders.
How does my card get charged?
Your card will be charged each time you or your guest places an order.
Why are there multiple payments?
Mr Yum closes out checks after each transaction as a measure to prevent fraud, benefiting both customers and restaurants by ensuring secure and industry-standard payment processing.
At Mr Yum, we take great pride in our commitment to security, ensuring the protection of both our valued customers and our restaurant partners. While allowing customers to open group ordering facilitates the convenience of group payments for food and drinks, closing and paying for orders after each transaction serves to safeguard our restaurant partners by verifying that there are sufficient funds available in their customer accounts.
How do I enable group ordering for multi-vendor ordering (MVO)?
Go to Orders > Group Ordering and toggle "Is group ordering enabled?" and select Save. Do this for all children and parent sites within the MVO venue.
Go to Reports & Payouts > Payment Settings and select Wallet from payment process types dropdown menu, and then select Save. Do this for all the children and parent sites within the MVO venue.
Please note that Group Ordering will only be available for dine-in and counter pickup.
